CR-Z Lamp

This project was the first one inspired by the lights of the car called Honda CR-Z. The project was divided into 3 phases:

Phase 1 -  Product Analysis: 

An investigation was made about lamps where I should create a new design for homes and be small.

Phase 2 - Design and construction: 

An aesthetic inspired by the headlights of the Honda car called CR-Z was finally chosen, it transmits calm and sensuality. I analysed the DNA of the aesthetics, the philosophy of the vehicle and the language of design and the lamp was designed accordingly. The final design was built in SolidWorks with real world manufacturing requirements in mind.

Phase 3 - Functional Design Model: 

In the last phase, the model was created on a 1:1 scale made of recycled plastic, wood, methacrylate and a small strip of LEDs inside, painted and fully assembled with the components. The goal was to create a fully functional prototype.
