ECO Ergonomic Chair

This project was about redesigning the ergonomic task chair and improving it to offer more functions and more uses. The project was divided into 3 phases:

Phase 1 -  Product Analysis: All the necessary aspects for its design were studied, both physiotherapists and ergonomics teachers were interviewed, in addition to studying the appropriate heights for its use, applying an attractive aesthetic, among many others.

Phase 2 - Design and construction: This ergonomic chair apart from adjusting to 3 seat heights, it also adjusts the height of the cervical cushion and the lumbar cushion to adapt it to the user. Apart from the great benefit of the ergonomic chair due to it's shape where it distributes the weight of the body and maintains the curve of the spine in it's natural position, it also offers rest in the cervical and lumbar area. With this, it allows it to be a work chair and a rest chair at the same time. It is made of wood and aluminium, the aesthetics where the internal mechanisms are hidden to offer a "clean" product.

Phase 3 - Render Design Model: In the last phase, the model was rendered in 3D and show it in different places. The studies that was made can confirm the product will be totally useful.
